Corporate sponsors, auction winners receive unique Spartans jersey in presentation at Victor Tedesco Stadium
As part of the autism awareness initiative, besides the popular auction through which the jerseys used in the Hamrun-Birkirkara match were signed by the respective player wearing the kit, in order to raise further funds, a limited set of jerseys were signed by all members of the team and its technical staff thereby adding value to such a collector’s items.
These were made available to corporate sponsors who gladly embraced the initiative.
Hamrun Ħanin and Autism Parents Association would like to thank the following sponsors who purchased this unique piece of memorabilia: Tescoma, Alfsons Enterprises, EasyGas Malta, Ian Debattista and Simon Bugeja.
These framed shirts were presented to them in a brief ceremony held at Victor Tedesco Stadium where the team players and coaches took a brief pause from their busy training schedule to share a few moments together with the above.
Moreover, separate presentations were made to the individuals that won the auction for the respective jerseys. It was a pleasure to note, that besides many Ħamrun Spartans supporters, fans from rival clubs have bid and actually won some of these jerseys, once again highlighting the role of football in building bridges and supporting noble causes.
